Meet the people that make your food

 DAIRY FOOD CLUB

Superstition Farm in concert with Mooster's Moo-tique and Udder Delights collectively are offering a Dairy Food CSA (Co-MOO-nity Supported Agriculture). The 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, we will put together pre-ordered packages of:

+Home-made Ice Cream
+Udder creamy Butter
+Farmer's Cheese from our cow's milk
+Farm-fresh gallon of Milk
+Mystery item-something made from a local chef, artisan, foodie, small business owner or a local farmer.

At each pick up the person making your item will be here at the Farm to meet you and have samples of their "treats".  It may be a professional cook with a menu item from their restaurant, a small business with a new or favorite treat, a farmer with produce – you will never know what it will be other than amazing and local.

We are now a pick-up point for Love Grows Farms CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Love Grows Farm is a small family farm in Mesa that practices sustainable farming based on Organic farming principles. We suppose we could try to sum up their operation, but let us let them tell you - straight from their mouth.

"Our Family has been raised to respect the earth, we are very low impact in our farming & living practices. This seems normal to respect our planet. The soil we grow in is either OMRI certified or we have been amending the soil with mulch and all organic materials for years to ensure a quality medium. Most of are fertilizers are OMRI Certified for piece of mind. The Farm has been built & maintained to be able to pass Organic Certification. When we have the time & the money to complete the process, we will. The results are well worth it. We could not think of operating any other way."

Farmer Michael is a class act, solid guy - we're honored to be able to work with him. If we're being honest, times are tough, and Superstition Farm AND Love Grows Farms are in a place where we NEED your support to survive. Please SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FARMER. Join Love Grows Farms CSA.
