Horse Riding Lessons!

Do you have a horse crazy youngster? Is their room plastered with horse posters, horse statues and horse stuffed animals? Then it's time to get them on a horse!

Superstition Farm offers beginning through intermediate horseback riding lessons for ages 4 and up. These aren't your ordinary get-out-of-the-car-and-get-on kind of classes - at Superstition Farm, lessons are taught by a real cowgirl who encourages a bond between horse and rider. Your child will learn horse care from the ground up; before they even get on, they'll groom their horse, clean its hooves, and learn the basics of how to approach and respect the horse. Your little cowboy or cowgirl will learn how to saddle and bridle their own horse with the aid of the instructor. Then it's time to ride! Safety will be emphasized in a fun, interactive environment. Students will ride at their very first lesson! Classes are one hour long, and can be scheduled weekdays or Saturdays.

We have six amazing riding horses, ranging from beginner to intermediate levels of riding. Even if your son or daughter has never seen a horse up close, we have a special horse that will take care of them. All lessons are done on our horses, using our equipment. All your child needs is a helmet and close toed shoes to start riding a real horse!

Superstition Farm has lessons for adults too! Have you ever seen someone riding a horse on television or at a rodeo and thought to yourself, "I wish I could do that!" Were you horse crazy as a kid, but never had the chance to ride? Now is your chance! Our instructor has worked with adults as well as children, and is well equipped to help you finally ride!

Lessons are tailored to a student's age and future equine goals. Our instructor is experienced in equine care and prevention, mounted flag teams, rodeo royalty, barrel racing, and other equine games.
